I am Matthew J. Curry, CFP®, ChFC®, CLU®, and the Founder of Curry Financial Group, Inc., a firm I established within Prudential Advisors in 2014. My practice focuses on delivering comprehensive financial planning, investment management, and tax strategies to help clients build and enjoy the retirement they’ve always envisioned.

I named my firm Curry Financial Group after my parents, who remain my greatest role models. My passion for educating and empowering clients comes from my mother, Marilyn Curry, a professor at Nassau Community College. My affinity for number-crunching and strategic planning was inspired by my father, James Curry, a retired Chief Procurement Officer. I also owe much of my success to the constant love and support of my wife, Codie.

After graduating from SUNY Geneseo with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a minor in History, where I played four years on the men’s varsity basketball team, I embarked on my career in financial planning because I truly enjoy helping people achieve their goals through education and careful strategy.

Giving back to my community is a core guiding principle for me. I proudly serve as the President and volunteer board member of the Townwide Fund of Huntington. Through this organization, we raise and distribute funds to local charities that support veterans, address food insecurity, provide mental health services, assist seniors, and tackle many other critical needs.

When I’m not working with clients, I cherish time with Codie, our son Matthew, and our dog Kobe. We live in Melville, NY, where I stay active by golfing with friends, attending church, working out, and continually studying the latest developments in financial planning.
